Q: Is SIPHU an overnight program?
A: SIPHU is a day-program that will be held from 9:00AM to approx. 3:30PM. No overnight lodging is provided.
Q: Will transportation be provided?
A: SIPHU provides no private transportation for students to and from the program. Transportation fare for public transit will be provided if necessary.
Q: Will food be provided?
A: Daily lunches are provided for free on every day of the program.
Q: Will I need to bring my own stationery?
A: Each student will be given a notebook, binder , folder, and even a pen and flashdrive to accommodate the learning process.
Q: When is the deadline for applications?
A: The application process will be closing by the beginning of May. However, applications are accepted on a rolling basis, so we encourage all hopeful students to apply as soon as possible.
Q: How can I get to the program?
A: Students can be dropped off in the Pleasant Street circle and enter up the stairs on the West end of the building. The East end entrance will also be open, and has an elevator. There is a gate there opening onto University Ave, however drop-off there may be more difficult due to traffic. You can also explore the campus maps here.
For those who will be parking, there is limited street parking available on 16th Ave SE. There is also the Fourth Street ramp nearby. Parking is NOT available on Pleasant Street itself.
